Osama

Osama experienced severe jaundice in infancy, causing brain damage that manifested as coordination difficulties, impaired balance, and incoherent speech. Entering Aura at 13, he stayed until 21, displaying remarkable progress. Osama excelled in special Olympics, earning numerous medals. Overcoming challenges, he achieved clarity in speech, passed the Sindh board matric exam, and now serves as a peon at the FIA office in Islamabad, earning a monthly salary of Rs 50,000.

Muhammad Kashif Saleem

Muhammad Kashif Saleem faced challenges with birth anoxia, resulting in spasticity in all four limbs and difficulty in speech. At the age of 10, he joined Aura, and over the past 20 years, he has made remarkable progress. Kashif can now independently move a wheelchair, has a strong understanding, follows commands effectively, although his speech remains limited. Currently, at the age of 30, he is employed at Aura as a paid intern in the office, contributing to the rehabilitation and special education section, earning a stipend of 7500 per month.

Ali Gohar

Ali Gohar faced meningitis at just 2.5 months old, causing spasticity on his left side and speech difficulties. Entering Aura at age 6, he stayed until 20, making remarkable progress. Gohar can now walk independently, possesses strong comprehension, and follows commands adeptly. Despite limited speech, he's flourishing as an OT assistant at Atia Hospital in Malir, earning 15000 per month while contributing to the operation theatre's cleanliness.

Muhammad Saqib

Muhammad Saqib's journey began with birth asphyxia and convulsions, resulting in spasticity in all four limbs, involuntary movements, and incoherent speech. At the age of 9, he joined Aura, and now, at 28, his progress is remarkable. Saqib can now walk with mild assistance, possesses a good understanding, follows commands, and communicates effectively. Currently, he serves as a paid intern at Aura, contributing as an assistant computer teacher for boys in the inclusive school section, earning a monthly stipend of Rs 10,500.

Hijab Sakina

Hijab Sakina aged 15 years is cerebral Palsy Hemiplegic child. She takes medicine for fits management, has made remarkable progress at Aura since 2024. She overcame initial drawing challenges and now creates stunning canvas paintings with great composition, color blending, and detail. Her unique style and talent are truly captivating .
